Photography and Renderings

Throughout my career, I have photographed and edited thousands of images across a wide range of subjects and styles. This section presents a curated selection that highlights the breadth and versatility of my work. Included are product photography, editorial-style interview portraits, catalog and brochure covers, digitally manipulated compositions, and art-directed 3D renders. Each image reflects a thoughtful approach to lighting, composition, and post-production, demonstrating both technical proficiency and creative vision. Product Photography

The images to the left are just a few examples from the hundreds of photographs I’ve taken and used as key visuals in standalone ads and in broader advertising campaigns. The top image appeared in a series of print and digital ads announcing the launch of a new LED Fresnel lighting fixture. The lower left image showcases a cthe introduction of a full color motion picture panel light. This image was prominently featured in multiple ads where product recognition was the primary focus. The lower right image illustrates the compact size of a new wireless transmitter/receiver.

Image Manipulation with AI background and Extensive Photoshop Work

Image Manipulation

These two images represent just a couple of examples from the thousands of digital images I’ve created using Photoshop as my primary tool. The top image showcases a prototype developed to support the launch of a new emergency lighting product line. I photographed the fixture, enhanced it with branding and a glowing light effect, and placed it against an AI-generated sky backdrop. The bottom image highlights another product launch, this time featuring a weather-resistant lighting unit. I photographed the prototype product and added a light misting of water. Then, I digitally simulated rain and composited the product into a stock image of a rain-soaked city street to reinforce the product’s weatherproof qualities.

Brand Building

To the left are images from the Cinematographers Series print, digital, and streaming campaign. Featured are four renowned cinematographers who appeared in a series of print and digital ads, subtly implying that only the best in the industry rely on the company’s products. These photos also served as introductions to the video interviews in the series. Shown are Academy Award-nominated cinematographers Russell Carpenter, ASC; Don Burgess, ASC; Steven Burum, ASC; and Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC. I consider it a privilege to have photographed and interviewed these legendary figures in the film industry.

Sales Collateral

The images above were composed and photographed with the purpose of creating hero/feature images for marketing brochures and sales catalogs. The top image is the cover image for a power distribution catalog. Minor Photoshop work was done to clean up and color-correct the image. The lower left image is a catalog cover for motion picture on-set apparel. Photoshop was used to clean up the image and create the background, and the logo was created in Adobe Illustrator. The lower right image was the feature image for over a decade on a motion picture lighting catalog. I used Photoshop for touch-ups, color correction, and creating the background.

Branding and Hero Renders

Here are four examples from the hundreds of branding and hero images I’ve concepted and designed. As Art Director and lead artist, I oversaw the full creative process, from concept and layout to texture and lighting direction, through to final render delivery. The top image serves as the campaign hero for a new line of dimmers. The lower left and center images showcase pre-launch product renders highlighting branding, markings, and labeling systems. The lower right image communicates the firmware update process via USB memory stick in a user-focused visual.
