Motion Graphics and Animation

My use of motion graphics enhance visual appeal, increase audience engagement, clearly communicate complex ideas, and improve the overall user experience. For traditional timeline-based animation, my go-to software includes Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, for creating dynamic compositions, animated titles, and visual effects. I also rely on Adobe Photoshop to create animated GIFs and short-form graphics, particularly for web and social media platforms. My portfolio includes motion graphics projects created using After Effects, and Photoshop showcasing a range of styles from clean informative explainer visuals to more cinematic and immersive animations.

Celebrating Black History Month

To celebrate Black History Month and call attention to behind the camera people of color in the entertainment industry and the contributions they have made by creating an animated banner. This motion graphic was featured in social media, a blog post and on a corporate web site. I devised, developed, designed, and produced this graphic to create a stronger visual impact. The animation also allowed me to feature multiple notable Black motion picture visionaries.

Software Product Launch Intro

A logo was needed to announce the launch of a new software, and I was looking to create a cinematic look with animated colors of the light spectrum. This design was influenced by the animated NBC peacock logo and the animated Netflix logo. This logo animation was featured in social media, a blog post and on a corporate web site. I conceptualized and designed the logo, and art directed Cinema 4D artists to achieve the desired visual effect.

Animated Chart Highlighting Color Selections

I developed, designed, animated, and directed this motion graphic. Whether you’re aiming to find the right color temperature or match a saturated hue, this graphic, featuring the chromaticity color chart shows how easily you can create any color the LiteMat Spectrum is capable of producing using just two parameters: an x value and a y value.

New Product Design Offers a USB Interface

To help users understand the latest features, I created a short animated video demonstrating how easily they can eliminate the repetitive task of navigating menus to add new software or troubleshoot their dimmer. Using a standard USB memory stick, firmware updates can be applied quickly, and profile settings can be loaded, stored, and saved with ease.
